Horseback Wine Tours

Come horseback wine tasting with us in the beautiful Temecula wine country! We are open for tours from Wednesday-Monday and closed on Tuesdays. Our tours leave daily at 10:00 am and 1:30 pm.

Our NEW SUNSET TOUR leaves daily at 4:30 pm.

All tours meet at Keyways Winery, the ONLY winery in Temecula with an equestrian facility. There you will meet your friendly guide who will fit you for a helmet and give you a safety brief and riding demonstration. You will be matched with your equine partner for the day based on your experience level, size and personality.

You'll get to know your equine partner and practice your riding skills in our arena before we head out on the open trail.

We are the only equine company in Southern California without a weight limit as we have horses of all shapes and sizes to accommodate any rider!

We offer the following tours:

Historical Wine Tour: Our most popular tour! Just like Giligan's Island, this is a three hour tour and is suitable for any level rider! You'll visit three wineries for 5 tastings at each winery.

Mountain Adventure Tour: This is a faster paced tour over more technical trails and suitable for confident/intermediate and above riders. You'll still get to visit three wineries for 5 tastings at each winery.

Lover's Tour: This tour is privately guided for one on one time with your sweetheart. You can pick the pace that's comfortable for you. This tour is less structured as we want to accommodate your every desire. We will advise you as to the wineries that are available at the time of your tour and let you pick our path! You can visit up to three wineries and will receive a 10 private tastings at your final winery for a total of 20 tastings.

NEW: Sunset Tour!!! This tour can be scheduled privately or in a group. You'll wine taste at Keyways Winery then ride out on the trail headed West to watch the sun set and enjoy the ambiance of the "purple mountain Majesty."

All tours have the option of a gourmet box lunch or other gourmet dining! Get more specific information on our Tour pages (selected from the drop down menu on this page's navigation button to the right)!

Ranch Hand Experience
Add on to any tour for $40
This tour feature lasts for at least one hour.

Have you ever wanted to be a cowboy or cowgirl? Do you love our nation's wild west history? Do you love the great outdoors and horses? Come experience the west in modern times at our Base Camp where you will get a personalized tour of our facilities, meet our amazing horses, and help your guide/trainer train one of our horses. For your convenience, the Ranch Hand Experience can be used on any day, not just the day of your tour. We will accommodate your schedule. Come let us share our love of horses with you as you get a sneak peak into the life of a real ranch hand!
